Counterweight Knob Replacement

If you need a replacement knob for a counterweight, this is the place to get it. Threads are stainless steel and cut to the right length for my AP, L, and T weights.

Each knob is $5.00
Shipping is $12.50 for the first knob and $0.75 for each additional knob.

TGAD Altitude Adjustment Knobs For situations where clearance is tight. These go on the bottom (rocker) plate.

Saddle Knobs If you need replacement knobs for a saddle, or just want a different color, order them here. Price is for a pair. These are the standard saddle knobs for Astro-Physics, Takahashi, and Losmandy mounts. In spite of what the illustrations show, they are all now long-neck versions. Threads are stainless steel 1/4-28.

Extra Long-Neck Knobs We have made a few knobs with extra long necks for situations where the saddle is sitting on a flat plate that is just a little wiser than the saddle. The neck length is 1.5" instead of 0.75". The are only available with clear anodizing.

Low Clearence Knobs

These knobs were designed for the MI-250 GOTO were clearance was a problem. They incorporate a socket-head cap screw. Because SHCS screws of this thread length have long non-threaded sholders, we had to hand thread half of these stainless steel screws. So, the price is a little higher. When they are gone, we probably wont be making more, but will make 1" dia. knobs without the socket head.
