Introducing a heavy-duty dovetail bar for mounting two scopes in tandem. Machined from 1" thick aluminum, they can handle larger OTAs than most other dual scope systems. Available in four sizes from 12" to 18". The bottom of the Tandem Bar has a dovetail that matches the Losmandy D size dovetail bars. So, it will work with any mount equipped with my Dove12 & Dove14 saddles, the Astro-Physics DOVELM, G-11 or Losmandy Titan. The flat areas, on either end, for mounting the OTA saddles, are lowered to keep the OTA's as close to the axis of rotation as possible. The structure between the saddles provides stiffness to the bar. |

5 lb. stainless steel counterweights are available for any mount with a 1.125" dia. shaft. They are 5" dia. x 1" with a brass bushing and spring loaded brass plunger to protect your counterweight shaft. The plunger retracts when you loosen the know. This makes setup easier. Radiused edges make handling more comfortable that bevelled edges of other brands. The retraction spring and threads are stainless steel so there are no parts to rust from heavy dew. |
